Tourism in Albania has been a key element to the country’s economic activity and is constantly developing. It is characterized by its rich archaeological and cultural heritage dating back to the classical period when Illyrians and Ancient Greeks inhabited the region. Over the course of history, the territory of Albania was occupied and populated by Romans, Byzantines, Venetians and Ottomans. Notably the country features unspoiled beaches, mountainous landscapes, traditional cuisine, archaeological artifacts, unique traditions, low prices and the wild atmosphere of the countryside.
Tour Plan :
Day 1 – 28th June
Tirane – Kruje – Tirane.
- Arrival Meet with your driver at the Tirana International Airport and depart towards hotel.
- Breakfast in hotel.
- Meet with Guide and start Tirana tour.
- Start sightseeing tour of Tirana. (Optional Dajti Cable Car) 10 Euro
- Visit: Scanderbeg Square; Opera House; National Museum; Ethem Bey Mosque; Orthodox Cathedral.
- After the Tirana tour transfer to the historical city of Kruje. (Optional Kruje Castle Museum) 5 Euro
- Arrive in Kruja and visit the old Bazaar and kruja Castle.
- After tour of Kruje meet with driver and depart to Tirana
- Enjoy free time in Tirana.
Day 2 – 29th June
Tirane – Berat – Belsh – Tirane
- Breakfast in hotel.
- Meet with driver and depart to the UNESCO protected area of Berat.
Visit the Berat castle to enjoy the view of the City of Berat and Mangalem neighborhood. - Free time in Berat and also have lunch.
- Meet with driver and depart to the Belshi lakes area.
- Upon arrival have some free time to enjoy the view of the Belshi Lake and a coffee along the promenade.
- Meet with driver and depart towards Tirana.
- Overnight in Tirana.
Day 3 – 30th June
Tirane – Durres – Petrel –Tirane
- Breakfast in hotel.
- Meet with driver and depart towards the coastal city of Durres
Visit the promenade; Venitian tower; City walls. - Also have some free time on the promenade.
- After tour meet with driver and head towards Petrel.
- After Durres tour meet with the driver and depart to the village of Petrela.
- Visit the Petrla castle and enjoy the view of the village. (Optional Zip Line Albania) 18 Euro
- Meet with driver and depart towards Tirana.
- Overnight Tirana.
Day 4 – 01th July
Tirane – Apolloni – Vlore – Tirane
- Breakfast in hotel
- Meet with driver and depart towards the coastal city of Vlora.
- On the way to Vlora stop to the ancient site of Apollonia.
- Visit the roman and Greek ruins.
- Continue to Vlora.
- Visit the promenade and Muradije neighborhood.
- Also have some free time on the promenade.
- Then meet with driver and depart towards Tirana.
- Overnight in Tirana.
Day 6 – 02th July
- Tirana – Tirana International Airport.
- Breakfast in hotel
- Meet with Driver and depart to airport.
